CREATING HARMONY, WELLNESS and GRATITUDE
Learn how to connect with the power of your thoughts to create a healthy lifestyle. Everything from the water we drink to the cells in our bodies is affected by our thoughts and feelings. We will take a look at Dr. Emoto’s research on the effect of words on water, and you will create your own “healthy” water bottle. We will discuss how the energy of love and gratitude can turn your life around, with some worksheets to help facilitate your learning. We will teach you the importance of stress management, how to use relaxation techniques, and take you through a guided meditation to help clear your mind and release negativity. Treat yourself to some fun and insightful learning.
This workshop will be held at Crystal River Gifts, several times this summer date and time to be determined. This is a 2-hour class, the fee is $20, all supplies are included.

“The Secret” with Vision Journaling
“The Secret” and similar teachings have been around for a long time. They have been shared throughout the ages by many different teachers in many different ways. The idea of tapping into the full potential of the human mind has opened new possibilities. It’s time to look at things a little differently.
Studies show that most of us use an average 5% of our brain, the other 95% is a creative force just waiting to be explored! Science has exposed the fact that everything is energy, including us. We are electro-magnetic beings and we draw certain energies to us by how we think and feel. We are always creating in our lives, whether consciously or unconsciously, because we are always thinking. We are now entering the age of energy medicine; the concept of “self-healing” has even stared to gain momentum.
In this series of six classes we will take an in-depth look at the concepts presented in “The Secret.” During each class we will watch a different portion of “The Secret,” then discuss it using handouts and worksheets to bring these teaching to a more practical and do-able level. Each person will create pages for their own personal “Vision Journal” (using magazine pictures and positive affirmations). This is a very helpful took for keeping energy positive, centered, and on-tract. In these classes you will learn how to tap into your true creative potential.

Discover Tarot with Bonnie Potter- Beginning Wednesday April 7th, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
A 4 week beginner course designed to help you learn the meanings of the tarot cards, how to do readings and increase your level of intuition. In this class, students will work with the Rider Waite Tarot deck to learn basic card meanings while discovering the importance of numbers, colors, and symbols in the cards. By the end of this class, students will be able to read for themselves and others using three spreads learned in class.

Tarot: The Next Step with Bonnie Potter- Thursday February 25th, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm

An intermediate course designed for tarot readers interested in strengthening their current knowledge of the tarot and increases their confidence level in reading for others. You will learn useful tips and techniques for doing readings will be presented and more in-depth practice of the Celtic Cross will be done in class. In addition, students will learn to read the more complex Chakra Spread to gain insight into information spanning a 6-month timeframe. Additional exercises will be presented to help reinforce information presented in the beginning tarot class.

Stress Management Workshop with Phil ClarkFriday April 2nd from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
With the focus on terms such as: Multi-Tasking, Recession, Job Layoffs, Price Increases, and Loss of Health Insurance, what are we to do? What we are all learning is that Stress is not caused by what happens to us, but by how we respond to what happens to us. The workshop incorporates physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual, exercises specifically designed to eliminate stress. We learn that when the body is relaxed, it can take care of itself. Relaxation is a key aspect in relieving stress because another definition for Stress is "tension," the innate, inborn instinctive response that prepares us for fight or flight. As we learn to relax, we learn to get out of the way. The other exercises build on that level of conscious relaxation so that we no longer respond by habit to things we can do nothing about. The goal is to give each attendee a "Blueprint" that will begin to lay a permanent foundation for the rest of their life.

Understanding the purpose and function of our chakras is vital to balanced living. For those with little to no understanding about the chakras, I will breifly explain what they are and what they do. "Chakra" is the sanskrit word meaning "wheel". Chakras are like wheels of light that vibrate at different color frequencies and are located all throughout our body. We have seven major chakras and numerous minor chakras. The major chakras are the focal point for most chakra meditations. There is much more to us than just our physical body; we have subtle and energetic bodies as well. The chakras act as the organs of these bodies. We are all comprised of energy and when universal energy can flow unimpeded throughout all of our bodies, then we can experience balance and harmony. The chakras connect our physical selves to our energetic, etheric, and eternal selves. Each of the seven main chakras correlate to different aspects of our self. They are:
Red: known as the root chakra; governs the skeleton, lymph, and elimination systems; relates to issues concerning safety, security, trust, survival, money, home, and job
Orange: sometimes called the sacral chakra; governs the reproductive system and assimilation; relates to issues concerning feelings, sensations, food, sex, appetite, and sexuality
Yellow: known as the solar plexus; governs the muscles and digestive system; relates to issues concerning freedom, power, control, self-direction, and intellect
Green: known as the heart chakra; governs the respiratory, circulatory, and immune systems; relates to issues concerning relating to others, giving, perceptions of love and acceptance
Blue (Turquoise): known as the throat chakra; governs growth and metabolism; relates to issues concerning expression, receiving, abundance, flowing manifestation, and listening to intuition
Indigo: known as the third eye; governs the endocrine system; relates to issues concerning spiritual awareness, individualized consciousness, intuition and clairvoyance
Violet: known as the crown chakra; governs the nervous system; relates to issues concerning connection with the Divine, universal consciousness, Source-level direction and guidance
